Chinese Brush Attempt - Bamboo

There are actually four parts to this work, and this is the first part. I'm not going to put up the other three however, but if you wanted to know, it develops from this to random brush strokes. The two that I *sort of* like are this one and the third one, which, as said, I won't scan in. This is the first time I've tried to paint with the chinese ink (the one that comes in a block) and the first time I've tried bamboo. As you can see, it's pretty screwed up, but I guess its okay for a first try. I made the paper brown with a teabag and I didn't add enough water to the brush. Um... it's also not Chinese-y enough - it looks sorta tropical island-ish to me.... Oh well.
